Short History & Future of 1

1 is Rock City's song for 1 Malaysia. Music by Felix Augustine, and lyrics by Kit, this song was originally written about KL more than a year back, but then we got news about a songwriting competition organized by Media Prima called "Lagu 1 Malaysia Kita" so some modifications was made to the lyrics to accommodate the vision.

The competition was opened for only slightly longer than a week so with such little time we had only 1 practice session before recording in the studio. The entire song was done in a week. Currently the song is in English but we hope to have a translation of the song in the national language.

5 songs will be shorlisted after the 2nd of August 2009 and then opened for a nationwide vote. So you guys all know what to do :) …
